The Quinoa Seeds

It is grown for centuries in South America, and specifically on the Cordillera of the Andes, where the climate is so harsh that few crops can resist. Quinoa is also very rich in minerals (iron, calcium, magnesium) and in fibres. He is also very digestible and gluten-free.
Its countless nutrient qualities, at a time where it is advice to us to consume more vegetable proteins. Quinoa is always derived from organic agriculture and sometimes even fair trade; make it a seed to discover quickly. One of the most nourishing plants in the world.

Primeal Quinori is 100% organic and 100% fair trade. It is cultivated on the Bolivian Altiplano, more than 3000m of altitude and manufactured in France, and it is now available in Australia at www.thefrenchorganiccompany.com.

This variety of Quinoa Real is appreciated for its colour, the thickness of its grain and the very high quality of its contributions in proteins (quantitative and qualitative wealth because all the amino acids are present). Quinori is a delicious and balanced association of cereals and pulses that is very interesting for vegetarians. Indeed, the proteins from vegetable origin are almost always incomplete, missing grain lysine and methionine pulse. With this in mind Primeal decided to create Quinori a combination of red and white Quinoa 30%, with precooked whole rice, crushed chickpeas and sesame for its perfume. The leguminous and the Quinoa have complementary proteins which make Quinori mixture a biological value protein close than meat. It`s also very tasty!!

Primeal Quinori is consumed and cooked like rice: hot as a side dish or cold in salads. A great alternative to rice or couscous.

Preparation:
In a pan or a wok, put Quinori with twice its volume of boiling water or stock (1cup of Quinori for 2 cup of liquid). Cook at medium heat, covered, wait until the preparation absorbs all the liquid (around 15 minutes). Alternatively Quinori can be cook in the rice cooker.
At the end of cooking time, you can add salt, soya sauce or olive oil and arrange according to your preferences.
