In the absence of pesticides, organic products are logically healthier for the health and the planet. But the benefits of the organics do not stop there! Not convinced? Here are 5 good reasons to eat organic.
1. Organic eating, it is about eating healthily
According to the successive reports made by the World Organization of health (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), it is now proven that organic products contain lower level of nitrate and pesticides than products that are not organic. These chemicals elements are inseparable from intensive agriculture and are fairly easy to identify in the products of agriculture (fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese, eggs fresh and products derivatives like wine for example).
These chemicals are devious in their modes of actions since the body accumulates them during a period of time without being able to be naturally eliminated. They promote in overdose the development of cancers and declines immunity defences. They also act and disturb normal fertility. Organic effects therefore fall on the long term maintenance on the body by limiting the accumulation of these chemicals in the body.
2. Organic eating , it is better for the health
The argument about organic product has long been subject to controversy but today, the experts are adamant, products obtained from organic cultures contain more vitamins and minerals than the products of conventional agriculture. These extra vitamins enable our organism to fight more efficiently against the external infection. Vitamin C notably intervenes directly against stress, whilst the antioxidant intervenes on the age, infections and allergies. Vitamins, mineral salts and trace elements are present in greater quantity in organic products for essential reason: the products which are not treated with pesticides are smaller and therefore more concentrated. At equal weight, an organic product contains less water and contains more dry matter.
3. Organic eating, it is eating more tasty and delicious food
Locally grown organic products are harvested at maturity. They have a much greater organoleptic quality (taste, smell, texture) than products pushed fertilizer. If the surplus of tastes and pleasures can be measured scientifically, consumers themselves widely recognized by their choice on the stall. Indeed the products are more expensive to purchase but they are enjoy at their fair measure, without waste. These arguments are going in the direction of a more rational consumption.
4. Organic eating , is good for the planet
Encouraging the production of organic products allows the global limit of chemicals and toxic releases. Earth less assaulted by armful molecules, it is also the sea who benefits. Natural water points found their original cleanliness. Producer becomes more aware of their action on nature producing in a different way.
5. Organic eating, it is encouraging agriculture respectful of human
Organic agriculture is overall more respectful of the Earth but also on men. With a natural culture, all producers are found on an equal footing. The methods change from intensive to extensive. The means of fight against pesticides are encouraged by the organic agriculture.
